Services

St Jude’s has a range of services aimed at those who enjoy both traditional and contemporary worship. Whatever your preference, whether it is Hymns, Choruses or Contemporary Worship, we’d love to see you in church this week!

Sunday Morning Traditional Service – 7.15am

This is a modern traditional service with Holy Communion, using traditional and modern hymns and choruses. Music is provided by piano, with a string section accompaniment on the third Sunday of the month.

Sunday Morning Contemporary Service – 9.30am

This is a contemporary service with Holy Communion, creative arts, drama, children’s items and the Kid’s Time program (for 3-6 year olds). Our contemporary worship includes songs from Hillsong, Planetshakers, Chris Tomlin and some of our very own.

St Jude’s Café: Linger after the service and relax in the Cornerstone Ministry Centre’s media room or out on our al fresco patio area for morning tea. Two options for morning tea include free Twinnings teas or a variety of coffees, with toast or for an unbeatable price of $2 enjoy a selection from our range of quality deserts, savouries and soft drinks.

Panel Services: from time to time we have special Panel Services during our 9.30am Contemporary Service, with guests who represent various sectors of our local and city community. These have specific themes and include members of our own congregations on the panel. These panels have included focuses on legal fictions with the former Dean of Griffith University’s Law School – Professor Bill McNeil; the ministry of Teen Challenge with the former Director – Alan Lemay; counselling with a visiting psychologist – Kerry Hitske and Christians in professional and business work with our local State Member- The Hon Tim Mander MP.

Tuesday Morning Traditional Service – 9.30am

This is a modern traditional service with Holy Communion, using traditional and modern hymns and choruses. Stay around afterwards for fellowship and refreshments in the Cornerstone Ministry Centre’s media room which includes free Twinings teas or a variety of coffees.

Friday Night: Alive & In the House – 1st & 3rd Fridays at 7.00pm

Our café style worship services in the Media Room of the Cornerstone Ministry Centre provide an informal place for us to worship God and hear messages that challenge us to go for it and be on the cutting edge with God. This time of contemporary worship is a spectacular way to finish the week. Come along and be uplifted and encouraged to pursue all that God has in store for us.
